Hello Stampede Family,
What a great night we had celebrating the Year of the Stampede!! The Band Banquet was a success! Our new leadership team is in place, and we are ready to start the new season in July!! We are excited for Fall 2024 with almost 250 members in Stampede!
We can see the light at the end of the tunnel! BISD school board meeting for UIL State Solo & Ensemble participants, a couple of concerts left, graduation, and UIL State Solo & Ensemble contest! Please make sure you check the dates/times below and the calendar on the band website for everything coming up!
At the Belton ISD school board meeting on Monday, May 13th, they will be recognizing students who are qualifiers for the UIL State Solo & Ensemble contest. Please be at the Pittenger Fine Arts Center by 5:50 pm as the school board meeting will begin at 6:15 pm. Once recognitions are complete, you will be able to leave.

May 13 - BISD School Board Meeting - Recognition of UIL State Solo/Ensemble Qualifiers - 6:15 pm (arrive at Pittenger Fine Arts Center by 5:50 pm)
May 14 - NBMS Bands Spring Concert - 6 pm - LBHS PAC
May 16 - Stampede Spring Concerts - 6:30 pm - LBHS PAC
May 23 - LBHS Graduation - Wind Ensemble & Wind Symphony Students will be playing and this is a mandatory event - Time 6:00 pm - Cadence Bank Center (formerly the Bell County Expo) - Itinerary can be found here.
May 25 - UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest -Percussion itinerary, and Brass & Woodwind Itinerary
July 3 - 4th of July Parade Practice - 8-10 am
July 4 - Belton 4th of July Parade - TBA
July 8 - Leadership Training w/Mr. Moss - 9:00 am-3:00 pm
July 9 - Leadership Training w/Mr. Moss - 9:00 am-3:00 pm
July 22-26 - Stampede Percussion and Colorguard Camp 8:00 am-4:00 pm
July 23 - Stampede Leadership Work Day 8:00 am
July 29-Aug 2 - Stampede Full Band Camp 8:00-4:00 pm
