
Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 20, 2024
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be issued by the Lake Belton Band Boosters in relation to fees and items purchased through the Lake Belton High School Band program.
1. Purpose
In order to maintain the Lake Belton Band Boosters' operations smoothly and handle financial resources efficiently, the following policy will be applied for refunds on fees and purchased items.
2. Financial Responsibility
Once items have been ordered, Lake Belton Band Boosters assume a financial commitment for these items. Therefore, refunds will be processed only for items returned in accordance with this policy.
3. Refund Timeline
Students who withdraw from the band up to the first day of school are eligible for a refund according to this policy; however, after this date, no refunds will be issued.
4. Item Refund Eligibility
Refunds will be provided only for physical items returned in their original, unused, and unopened state. To qualify for a refund, items must be returned within 24 hours of the decision to withdraw from the band program.
5. Fee Refund Eligibility
A refund will be issued for fees associated with meals and uniform cleaning.
6. Non-Refundable Items/Fees

Used/Worn Items: Any items that have been used or worn cannot be refunded.

Personalized Items: Items that have been customized or personalized for an individual student are non-refundable.

Special Order Items: Items that have been specially ordered or customized cannot be refunded. This includes year-specific items such as the performance top.

Pre-Order Items: Items that have been pre-ordered and paid for to ensure the correct number of items. (Example: Parent/family show shirts purchased at the Parent Meeting in Spring.)

Optional Items: Optional items purchased at the discretion of the student or their family, such as additional merchandise, will not be refunded.

Technology Fees: Fees related to technology are non-refundable and will not be reimbursed if a member drops band.

Square Fees: Processing fees are non-refundable.
7. Request Process
To request a refund for eligible items, an email must be sent to treasurer@lakebeltonhsband.com within 24 hours of withdrawing from the band. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
