The leadership team includes both color guard and band roles, consisting of lieutenants, captains, and lieutenants in training. Section leaders manage their sections, conduct inspections, enforce discipline, provide guidance, and support drum majors. Drum majors teach marching fundamentals, direct the ensemble, and act as field commanders throughout the season. All Leadership roles must reapply each year and are chosen during the spring leadership audition for the upcoming season.


 

Our Band directors are the guiding force behind the musical journey of students in the band program. They are experienced musicians and educators who play a crucial role in shaping the overall musical experience for students at Lake Belton High School. .

​The Lake Belton Band offers a rich variety of ensembles, tailored to diverse musical tastes and talents. Each ensemble brings its own distinctive flair and musical style to the band program. Traditionally, the Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Symphonic, and Marching bands focus on classical and marching band repertoires, while the Jazz ensembles venture into improvisation and swing. During the marching season, the color guard enhances performances with visually captivating choreography. With such a diverse range of ensembles, the Lake Belton Band ensures students have ample opportunities to explore various music genres and refine their musical abilities.
